To help reach its goal of providing affordable housing the Housing Authority of Yamhill County (HAYC) needs the cooperation and assistance of various private sector parties.  We encourage Section 3, Minority, and Women owned businesses to participate. We have listed below the opportunities for businesses to partner with the Housing Authority in meeting housing needs in Yamhill County:

Bidding

Based on the Housing Authority Procurement Policy, qualified vendors are encouraged to respond to bid requests for goods and services, such as rehabilitation of existing housing units.

Development

As developers of affordable housing, HAYC hires contractors and related development specialists to complete new projects. Oregon State law charges the Housing Authority of Yamhill County (HAYC) with developing affordable housing opportunities for residents with incomes below 80% of the area median. HAYC development efforts focus on both preserving existing affordable housing projects in the County and on building new projects to serve the expanding population in the County.

Housing Rehabilitation

HAYC administers a county wide Housing Rehabilitation program that utilizes local area contractors to complete repairs to owner occupied homes.
